Description:
Fall Obedient Plant is a clump-forming perennial native to Texas and much of the eastern U.S., celebrated for its snapdragon-like spikes of tubular flowers in shades of pink, lavender, or white. The name “obedient” refers to the way the flower heads can be bent and will stay in place. It attracts a variety of pollinators, including native bees, bumblebees, and butterflies such as Monarchs and Swallowtails, making it an essential addition to a pollinator-friendly garden.

Planting Tips:

  • Prefers moist, well-drained soils but tolerates short dry spells.

  • Can spread aggressively by rhizomes; divide clumps to manage spread.

  • Deadhead to prolong blooming and prevent self-seeding.
