Description:
Wormwood is a hardy perennial herb prized for its silvery-gray, finely cut foliage and strong aromatic qualities. Historically used in herbal medicine and the production of absinthe, it adds texture and color contrast to garden borders and herb beds. Wormwood also acts as a natural pest repellent, discouraging insects like fleas, moths, and even deer.

Planting Tips:

  • Plant in well-drained, sandy or loamy soil.

  • Avoid overwatering; root rot can occur in soggy conditions.

  • Trim back in late winter or early spring to promote compact growth.

  • Avoid planting near culinary herbs, as its oils may inhibit growth.
