Description:
Massive long-lived cypress native to Mexico and parts of Texas, valued for its graceful form, feathery foliage, and exceptional heat tolerance. Unlike Bald Cypress, it often retains foliage longer into winter or year-round in mild climates. Excellent for large landscapes, waterways, and shade plantings.

Planting Tips:

  • Plant in full sun with room for mature growth
  • Adapts to wet soils but also tolerates drier conditions after establishment
  • Water deeply during establishment for best growth
