Description: Nepeta cataria, commonly known as Catnip, is a hardy perennial herb with gray-green, aromatic leaves and small, white to lavender flowers. It is well-known for its euphoric effects on cats but also has medicinal properties and can be used in teas. Catnip attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies and is easy to grow in a variety of garden settings.

Planting Tips:

  • Plant in well-drained soil.
  • Space plants 18-24 inches apart.
  • Tolerates drought once established but benefits from regular watering.
