Description:
Datura, also known as Angel’s Trumpet or Moonflower, is a striking flowering plant known for its large, trumpet-shaped, fragrant blooms that open in the evening. Flowers come in shades of white, purple, and yellow, attracting nighttime pollinators like moths. This plant is drought-tolerant and thrives in warm climates, making it well-suited for Texas gardens. Note that all parts of Datura are toxic if ingested.
Planting Tips:
- Plant in well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight.
- Space plants 2-3 feet apart to allow for spreading growth.
